Voltage regulator Empty Voltage regulator

I know that a voltage regulator is really needed as I can adjust the voltage control on the power supply that runs the dynamo-tor to the proper voltage, but I would prefer the voltage be regulated as a slight increase of the voltage to the dynamo-tor produces a louder output volume from the receiver and a slight drop in voltage to the dynamo-tor produces a lower output volume from the receiver.
